Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a collaborative process between the therapist and an individual seeking support. The therapist creates a safe and non-judgmental environment where the individual can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours and work towards positive change.
The goal of psychotherapy for individuals is to help the individual develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences, identify patterns of behaviour that may be holding them back, and learn skills and strategies to manage difficult emotions, cope with stress, and improve relationships.
Psychotherapy for individuals can be helpful for a range of mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. It can be conducted in person, online, or over the phone, and the frequency and duration of sessions can vary depending on the individual’s needs.
